Look & feel your best this wedding and holiday season
Let’s be real - summer is full-on. Weddings, Christmas parties, BBQs, beach days, late nights, early starts. And if you’re anything like us, you want to glow through it all… without burning out.
Whether you're a bride, a guest, or just someone trying to survive silly season with your skin intact, this is your gentle, grounding checklist to prep for the events ahead.
Bookmark it, share it, and sprinkle it into your routine over the next few weeks.

1. 🥤 Hydrate like it’s your job
Water is always a yes - but don’t forget electrolytes, especially if you’re in the sun, moving more, or enjoying a drink or two.
Coconut water, mineral salts, or a squeeze of lemon with a pinch of sea salt can help your body actually absorb that hydration (your skin will thank you).

2. 🥑 Eat for skin support, not just aesthetics
There’s nothing wrong with Christmas treats - but balancing them with foods that feed your skin makes a huge difference.
Focus on:
• healthy fats (avocado, salmon, olive oil, nuts)
• antioxidants (berries, leafy greens, citrus)
• fibre (fruit, veg, flaxseed, chia)
• collagen support (bone broth or a quality collagen powder stirred into coffee, smoothies, or yoghurt)
Collagen provides the building blocks for skin elasticity, hydration, and repair - especially helpful when life feels busy and your skin is under extra stress.
3. 😴 Get your sleep & stress in check
Late nights and social overload can show up as dullness, congestion, or flare-ups.
Prioritise early nights when you can, and give yourself space between events. Even a short walk, gentle stretching, or five minutes of deep breathing can calm your nervous system - and your skin.

4. ☀️ Embrace the sun - but wisely
A little bit of sun is good for you. It boosts mood, supports vitamin D levels, and can help your skin feel more alive. Just be mindful - watch the UV index, avoid burning, and choose SPFs that don’t clog or irritate your skin.
We recommend natural zinc-based SPF options, which protect while still letting your skin breathe. Ask us in-clinic if you’re unsure which one suits you, or shop our sun protection options here.

5. 💆♀️ Move your lymph
Your lymphatic system doesn’t have its own pump - it relies on movement. Facial gua sha, massage, dry brushing, fascia release, walking, or Pilates all help reduce puffiness, boost circulation, and improve skin tone.
We offer massage and fascia-based treatments in clinic if you want a full-body reset before an event.
6. ✨ Book a skin treatment early
Don’t leave it to the week of. Summer-safe treatments like our Infusion Facial and Nourish Facial are perfect for restoring hydration, calming inflammation, and giving you that fresh, rested glow.
Not sure what your skin needs right now? Book a consultation and we’ll guide you.
7. 🧴 Keep it simple
This isn’t the time for product overload. Stick to gentle cleansing, hydration, and SPF. If you want a boost, add a nourishing mask or hydrating spritz once or twice a week.
8. 🧘 Don’t aim for “perfect” skin
Skin is alive. It responds to stress, food, sleep, hormones, and life. Be kind to it. When you support your body well, your skin naturally follows.
