Beauty Therapist
I joined Indulge Beauty in January 2023 after spending the past eight years in Auckland. In December, I decided it was time to move back to be closer to my family.
I've always had a passion for brows and have been fortunate enough to win awards, one of which took me to San Francisco.
I absolutely love everything about eyes - tinting, brow mapping, brow laminations, lash lifts. In 2023, I’m excited to introduce dermaplaning services to Indulge.
In my spare time, I’m dedicated to learning Te Reo Māori and am currently enrolled in a full immersion class to enhance my skills.

Favorite Service to Provide: Definitely brow tint/shaping, as you can see an immediate difference in the way good brows frame a face.
Favorite Product: Elleebana Mascara. It stays on all day, is not irritating to the eyes, and is easy to remove at the end of the day.

I moved to Whakatāne as a young child and have been here ever since, embracing the wonderful outdoors lifestyle this place has to offer. I truly couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
After earning my Beauty Therapy Diploma in 2014, I started working for Tanya at Self Indulgence. Five years later, I took a break to welcome two beautiful babies. Now, after three years off, I’m thrilled to be back! It’s been a real treat to reconnect with many familiar faces who still come to the salon. It’s made my return even more rewarding, and I’m excited to catch up with everyone over the coming months.
My husband and I currently live on a dairy farm with our two toddlers, a cat, and a dog, making for a pretty hectic life outside of the salon—but I wouldn’t have it any other way. When we find the time, we love to explore new places and look forward to getting back into hiking and camping.
Favorite Service to Provide: I love pampering my clients with relaxing treatments, such as our Serenity facial. It’s so fulfilling to see clients walk out feeling refreshed and stress-free.
Favourite Product: Aspect Sun CC Cream SPF50. This is my go-to everyday essential for effortless skin confidence. It combines high protection with a lightweight, complexion-perfecting tint, helping to even out skin tone while still feeling natural and breathable on the skin.

Born and raised in Whakatāne, I spent a year and a half in Wellington completing my Beauty Therapy qualification before returning home to begin my career doing what I love.
My passion for beauty started back in high school with makeup and nails, and it's grown into a genuine love for helping people slow down, relax, and leave feeling like the very best version of themselves. I especially enjoy treatments that create a sense of calm and allow clients to truly switch off from the outside world.
Outside of the salon, you'll usually find me painting, baking, or spending time with my mischievous kitten, Waffle.
Favourite Service to Provide: Massage and facials. I love the slower, more relaxing treatments that help clients unwind while giving them a little time to themselves.

Raised on a kiwifruit orchard in Te Puke among a large family, I ventured to Sydney as a teenager before returning to the sunny Bay of Plenty in 2009. Growing up surrounded by orchards taught me the value of hard work and the belief that determination, sweat, and aroha can achieve anything. Transitioning back to Whakatāne from bustling Sydney has been fulfilling, allowing me to forge new friendships and find joy in simpler pleasures.
My ideal way to unwind is glamping near a beach or lake with my husband, our two Spaniels, enjoying good food and the company of friends.
I'm thrilled to be part of this team, collaborating closely with our talented beauty therapists and ensuring our clients have a fantastic experience from the moment they arrive. It's incredibly rewarding to be at the forefront of our salon, exploring new treatments and technologies that elevate the beauty experience for everyone who visits us.
