Whether you got caught out at the beach or forgot to reapply, sunburn happens. We’ve all been there. But what you do after the burn makes a huge difference in how your skin heals.
Here’s what we recommend if you’ve had too much sun:

🌤 1. Cool it down
Take a cool shower or apply a cold compress to soothe the heat. Avoid ice directly on the skin, and skip the super hot showers for a few days.
🧴 2. Hydrate from the inside and out
Drink plenty of water and apply gentle, calming skincare to help replenish and protect your barrier. Look for ingredients like vitamin E, squalene, and zinc.
We recommend:
Aspect Hydra Shield Moisturiser with Zinc – lightweight, cooling hydration with barrier-protecting zinc oxide and botanical oils
Aspect Red-Less 21 – antioxidant-rich oil serum that helps calm redness and support stressed skin

❌ 3. Avoid these common mistakes
Don’t pick or peel your skin – it’ll delay healing
Skip active skincare like retinol, AHAs, or peels while your skin is recovering
Avoid more sun exposure until your skin has healed fully
🌿 4. Support healing with gentle care
This is the time for barrier repair. Gentle cleansing, minimal makeup, and lots of moisture is key.
